Home Health Care
Personalized In-Home Care

Not only is it more comfortable to receive care at home, but it's also as effective, more convenient, and usually less costly than a prolonged stay in a hospital or physical rehabilitation facility. You or your loved one will receive personalized, one-on-one care. Interim HealthCare's approach to plan-of-care can help improve recovery and long-term progress.
Trusted by Doctors and Patients for Decades

At Interim HealthCare, we've been helping our neighbors throughout the Upstate of South Carolina improve their health and well-being since 1979. We have offices in Greenville, Easley, and coming soon to Columbia, and we serve residents, physicians, and caseworkers throughout the surrounding area.
Our exceptional home health staff includes skilled nurses, physical, occupational, and speech therapists, social workers, and home health aides – professionals and paraprofessionals with specialized qualifications and friendly personalities who quickly inspire confidence and a motivating spirit that encourages the healing journey.
In addition to our dedicated care team members, our proprietary HomeLife Enrichment® standard of care truly sets Interim HealthCare apart. We consider each patient's body, mind, spirit, and family as four "wheels" that form a "chassis" on which we build an individually-tailored care plan. Whole-person care is more rewarding for you and your loved one, and it is for us, too.

Get the Help You Need and More
Our home healthcare services include a wide range of medically necessary procedures plus patient and family education. We can help with everything from learning to use an at-home medical device to learning to manage chronic pain or chronic diseases such as COPD, diabetes, coronary artery disease, and congestive heart failure. The list is as long as patients are individual and together with your primary care team, we can build a personalized plan.
Recovering from a joint replacement, a fall, or a stroke is hard work. Therapy is vitally important. Therapy is not just about exercise, but about regaining strength, stamina, range of motion, and balance. In some cases, therapy is about learning adaptive ways to accomplish daily tasks or relearning to understand words and speak clearly. In-home therapy is tailored to each person’s lifestyle and living environment. Recovery is faster and more relevant, and family members can be closely involved if desired
Wound Care

Safety and infection prevention are critical at home. Interim HealthCare's skilled nurses can provide temporary in-home care for post-surgical wounds or ongoing care for individuals with ostomies, incontinence, or complex skin conditions. We work as an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care with your doctor, hospital, and/or insurance company.
Telehealth

Thanks to modern technology, our professional caregivers can be on the job for you or your loved ones around the clock. Telehealth services enable us to remotely monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, blood oxygen levels, heart rate, and weight – so important for anyone who has COPD, heart disease, or other chronic health problems.
Interim HealthCare’s in-home telehealth monitors alert us any time your vital signs are outside the normal range – allowing us to respond immediately if needed. This is entirely different from home-based health security monitoring systems, and it can provide even greater peace of mind, especially for family members who are not nearby.
